How-To Article Planner

Start with structure, not a blank page. Arrange a practical article brief around your reader, process and intended outcome.

Enable JavaScript to use the browser-only builder. The explanation and FAQs below remain available without it.

YOUR WORKING DRAFT

From your notes to a useful structure.

Complete the fields and choose Build result. Your inputs stay in this browser tab.

Behind the result - No mystery in the method

The planner builds a labelled article brief from your title, process lines and optional reader context. Your selected article type changes the opening and section prompts: a task guide focuses on completing a process, troubleshooting focuses on a symptom and checks, and a reference guide focuses on finding and using information.

Process lines become numbered section headings. Optional preparation, source notes, pitfalls and completion details are included only when supplied. It creates an outline to develop, not a fully researched article, keyword analysis or evidence that your instructions work.

This tool does not publish a guide, does not fetch live data, and does not store data on a server. Blank optional fields are omitted. Text is displayed literally, not interpreted as HTML. Nothing is researched, fact-checked or submitted on your behalf.

Processing happens in the current browser tab. Reset clears the fields and result; reloading or leaving clears the active worksheet too. Print and Save result deliberately create a copy outside the tool, which you are responsible for storing, sharing and deleting.

Before you go

Is this a finished article?

No. It is a writing brief with ordered section headings and prompts. Expand it into prose, verify facts, add examples and test the procedure before publishing elsewhere.

Does this research search intent or keywords?

No. You choose an article type and may enter a reader question. The planner does not fetch search results, keyword volumes or current competitor content.

Are source notes checked?

No. Source notes are carried over literally, not opened or validated. Check permission, relevance and currency yourself before citing any material.

Is my guide published here?

No. Generating a result does not publish, upload, email or submit it anywhere. Publishing a guide is a separate action you take outside this tool.

Can I share or print the result?

Yes. Generate the result, then choose Print result or Save result (.txt). Your browser may offer Save as PDF in its print dialog. Review private details before sharing any copy.

Does the site store my guide?

These tools send no input to a server and use no cookies, local storage or session storage for drafts. Reset, reload or leaving the page clears the active worksheet. Saved or printed copies remain under your control. Hosting logs and unrelated WordPress services are separate; see Privacy Policy.
