Checklist Builder
Make the essentials checkable. Organize your tasks into a clean, printable checklist without losing the details.
Enable JavaScript to use the browser-only builder. The explanation and FAQs below remain available without it.
YOUR WORKING DRAFT
From your notes to a useful structure.
Complete the fields and choose Build result. Your inputs stay in this browser tab.
Behind the result - No mystery in the method
The builder removes empty lines, keeps the remaining task order and prefixes every item with an empty checkbox marker. With “Remove repeated items” selected, it compares trimmed lines without case sensitivity and keeps only the first occurrence. The result reports the original and retained counts.
It does not decide task priority, group items by topic or remember which boxes you complete. Any context or completion rule you enter is carried over as a separate section. Checkbox markers in the text file are for manual use; they are not tracked by this website.
This tool does not publish a guide, does not fetch live data, and does not store data on a server. Blank optional fields are omitted. Text is displayed literally, not interpreted as HTML. Nothing is researched, fact-checked or submitted on your behalf.
Processing happens in the current browser tab. Reset clears the fields and result; reloading or leaving clears the active worksheet too. Print and Save result deliberately create a copy outside the tool, which you are responsible for storing, sharing and deleting.
Before you go
How are repeated tasks detected?
Only trimmed, case-insensitive exact matches count as repeats. “Check the latch” and “check the latch” match, but differently worded tasks are kept. Choose Keep all items when repeated actions are intentional.
Will ticking items be remembered?
No. The output uses plain checkbox markers for a printed or saved copy. This site does not track task completion or save a checklist state.
Can I add section headings in the task box?
Every nonblank line is treated as an item, not as a heading. Make separate checklists for separate groups, or include group names within the item labels.
Is my guide published here?
No. Generating a result does not publish, upload, email or submit it anywhere. Publishing a guide is a separate action you take outside this tool.
Can I share or print the result?
Yes. Generate the result, then choose Print result or Save result (.txt). Your browser may offer Save as PDF in its print dialog. Review private details before sharing any copy.
Does the site store my guide?
These tools send no input to a server and use no cookies, local storage or session storage for drafts. Reset, reload or leaving the page clears the active worksheet. Saved or printed copies remain under your control. Hosting logs and unrelated WordPress services are separate; see Privacy Policy.
